The Interview

Hey there--the interview was short and sweet. Two people interviewed me, and they both were very nice.  I won't know much for awhile, but I did learn that the shifts would not be any time after 8pm or before 6am, and there are 21 people being interviewed for 2 positions.  There will be a background check ("a full background check, including your old employers, your life record, etc.").

So, the clock is ticking and I just wait...

Hi there--

I'm jumping right back in--it seems that I passed both a written and oral examination for a position on our city's police department. So, I test well, at least, and I've been told that I interview well...

So, wish me luck, light a candle, say a little prayer, send positive thoughts, whatever works for you, because my interview with the hiring department is this morning in one hour. (10:30 am Calif time).

I'm only concerned about the bad experience I had in November, and then again last month, with the university, and how it may affect my interviewing skills, plus what I'll say when/if they ask me about it.  I wonder if they've called CSULB HR to gather any information. This is a very small town with a huge gossip line.

So, I'd appreciate anything you're willing to virtually send my way...
